Make Each Dive Count
Be part of the solution when you visit Maui!
As scuba divers we have a unique opportunity to make a difference, to help improve the health of our planet, if we choose, because we are the only people that have eyes on what happens underwater and we only make up 0.00077% of the global population.
Our ecotourism dive packages offer more than just scuba diving. We will start our day with a short presentation on the topic of your ecotour, which will include the importance of the data we will collect and how to collect it. Then we will do two dives (sites determined based on your tour). Following the dives, we report the data to the proper organization.
Gain the knowledge and skills to ignite your inner citizen scientist. help collect data for important research projects while enjoying the beautiful shore dives.
Ecotour dive packages can be booked individually or together as part of a custom dive package. Each diver that completes 2 or more ecotour dive packages receives a VIP gift bag!
More than 70% of all ocean trash falls to the ocean floor. Scuba divers are the ONLY people who can clean it up! You will learn how to safely and properly pick up ocean trash and properly report the data!

Sea turtle Awareness
Coral Reef Conservation
Everyone likes to scuba dive in warm, clear water on a vibrant coral reef, yet many people know little about what they’re seeing or the importance of reef ecosystems. The Coral Reef Conservation Specialty course helps you appreciate the complexity of these habitats and teaches you how you can help conserve these vital systems. Anyone who has an interest in the aquatic world can take this course.
AWARE Shark Conservation
Sharks are crucial to marine ecosystems, yet sharks are in a global decline. Learn about the value of sharks and what is causing the rapid loss of shark populations. The course may include two scuba dives or may be presented as a non-diving education program.
Fish Identification
“What was that fish?” is a common question heard after a dive. If you want to be the scuba diver with the answers, instead of the one asking the questions, then take the Fish Identification Specialty course. You’ll enjoy your dives even more when you recognize the creatures that you see and can identify the main fish families and their characteristics (age minimum of 10).
